By The Sea marks the first major collaboration collection for Kirstin Ash. This collection by Kirstin Ash and Olive Rose Cooke is inspired by their respective journeys living By The Sea. For both women, life spent along the water's edge means quiet reflective moments sitting on the end of a jetty in the cool of an autumn afternoon; it's spending time pouring over the pages of a book in the nook of their homes. It's cherishing a slow pace and the space to be still, it's honouring the simplicity found in nature - in all its perfectly imperfect forms; and it's a love of cosy sea shacks and bachs.
Mother of Pearl, Keshi Pearls, Baroque Pearls, satin finishes together with a mix of 18K gold and 18K rose gold vermeil plating, feature prominently throughout this collection. True to the very nature that inspired it, each piece within this collection is unique. The pearls used throughout By The Sea are some of the most fascinating organic gems available. Each has its own shape, size and natural variation. A treasure seeker's fossicking dream.
This collection was shot on location at Satellite Island, in the heart of the magnificent D'Entrecasteaux Channel, in the south of Tasmania.
